GSG North Cup ready to starts
WorldXCmtb è partner del circuito GSG North Cup, sponsorizzato dal gruppo d'abbigliamento Giessegi. 'The King of The Castle' sarà il motto del circuito, nato per diventare un punto di riferimento per gli amanti del cross country di Veneto, Trentino e Lombardia. Una prova regionale, una nazionale ed una internazionale compongono questo trittico che ha ambizioni future importanti e che si concluderà in poco piu' di un mese.
Nell'edizione “zero” sono inserite nell’ordine cronologico di disputa, la prova veneta di Tregnago (VR) “1° Trofeo Città di Tregnago”, quella trentina di Rovereto (TN) “La Rampiprima – Trofeo Citta' di Rovereto” organizzata da L’Arcobaleno Carraro Team e, quella lombarda di Montichiari (BS) “Trofeo Giorgio Senini” curata dal Novagli Bike Team.
La prova di Tregnago sarà disputata il 4 Marzo e verrà organizzata dal BiBike Team Andreis che ha realizzato un tracciato interamente sterrato aprendo, appositamente per l'occasione, divertenti single track attorno all'antico castello medievale che sovrasta la piazza principale del paese. Seppure considerata come “la cenerentola”, al cospetto delle altre due blasonate prove, quella di Tregnago sarà una prova molto tecnica con un dislivello considerevole come si conviene ad una vera prova cross country di alto livello.
Dal castello di Tregnago l' 11 marzo ci si sposterà a quello di Rovereto, per correre l'ormai tradizionale “La Rampiprima”. La manifestazione trentina, divenuta un must per molti specialisti del cross country, è gara nazionale valida come prima prova del campionato italiano di società giovanile e top class per tutte le altre categorie e richiamerà giovani promesse ed atleti di spessore provenienti da ogni parte d'Italia. Il gran finale è previsto il 21 e il 22 aprile in quel di Montichiari, dove in occasione della terza prova degli Internazionali d'Italia, vedremo sfidarsi e mostrare i muscoli i grandi dell'off road mondiale. A Giessegi, azienda leader nell’abbigliamento tecnico per il ciclismo, title sponsor dell'iniziativa, il compito di dare lustro a questa prima edizione del trittico. Le maglie di leader, appositamente disegnate per l'occasione, verranno indossate dai vincitori di ciascuna categoria previste proprio al termine della prova bresciana di Montichiari, e decreteranno i primi detentori del titolo di “THE KING OF THE CASTLE”.
