The Swiss Christoph Sauser wins the first stage of Transalp Germany. Recall that Sauser is the winner of the last two editions.
After 73 km was then the world champion marathon to win even if it is not so obvious was the victory given that his competition came very close with David George and Matthias Bettinger who have disputed the victory until the final climb where Sauser him loose. In the women's race victory for Landtwing Milena ahead Pia Sundstedt and Schmidt Silke. Tomorrow the second stage which will take riders from Pfronten Lermoos in Austria. They will have to cycle for 78 km facing a drop of 2,295 meters.
